Description of Job 

TSB Digital Creative Agency is seeking an entry-level part-time employee as a Social Media Assistant. This position will focus on creating content for videos, reels, and shorts. They will also focus on conducting research, creating engaging graphics and copy, scheduling, and engaging on social media. They will work under the supervision of our Project Manager to help carry out all day-to-day tasks for our clients.

Duties

Social Media

• Conduct research (hashtags and demographics) for our client’s industries

• Excellent copywriting skills for creating engaging copy

• Monitor all engagement notifications including likes, comments, reviews, check-ins, mentions, and shares

• Responsible for monitoring and replying to all client’s reviews and/or comments within 24-48 hours across all digital and social platforms

• Schedule client’s posts using agency software and Meta Business Suite Planner

• Use best practices, remain knowledgeable of new tools, and become an early adopter of social trends

• Working with the web team in developing marketing copy and coordinating/designing collateral materials for client projects

• Familiar with CTA, Impressions, and Reach

• Strong writing and editing skills

Email Marketing

• Upload contacts and create lists based on demographics

• Create engaging messaging for conversion

• Schedule and send weekly newsletters on behalf of our clients and TSB

Additional Duties

• Proficient using Meta Business Suite

• Proficient in using Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, Twitter, TikTok, and Google My Business

• Familiar with Loomly software

• Familiar with email marketing software such as Constant Contact, MailChimp, and Mailerlite

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 6 months of writing experience is required

• Must have an active social media presence 

• Ability to multitask in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment

• Ability to think critically and problem-solver

• Our ideal candidate will be independent, driven, and a self-starter

Salary

Pay is $15 per hour

Benefits

• Work Hours are Monday – Friday during business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm

• Direct Deposit Available

A 90-day probation period will be in effect. This position is required to work in our office.
