Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Full-time)
Reports To: President/Owner

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Social Being is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the staff as needed by telephone calls, handling emails and preparing reports for clients. Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and creating invoices. Project management skills. Social media marketing skills. Maintain and update current contracts database and overseeing email marketing. Coordinate and maintain records of staff and internal staff phone list. Assist with preparations and arrangements for special events. Assist with other departmental duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills necessary
  • Able to perform tasks with reasonable speed and accuracy
  • Strong basic clerical skills; typing, filing, spelling, and grammar
  • Must be punctual and maintain acceptable level of attendance
  • Ability to deal with public professionally and politely
  • Ability to apply judgment and discretion to business decisions
  • Handles all company business and personnel matters confidently
  • Preferably 1 year experience in office setting

SKILLS

  • Strong Internet skills and research skills
  • Ability to use Constant Contact (email marketing software)
  • Ability to use Paypal
  • Ability to use Asana (project management)
  • Proficient on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

LANGUAGE SKILLS
English
Spanish but not required
